Every pitch and every swing, tracked

In our games, both sides of the ball are on the data, and all of it lands in ASP Boost.

Every pitch and every swing, tracked

In most summer leagues, a game ends and all you have is a box score: a few hits, an inning line, maybe a radar number somebody yelled out. In the ACDL, every game is a full dataset on every player, on both sides of the ball. Here is what we capture, and why it matters more than the final score.

A game is more honest than a bullpen

Bullpen and cage work are where you build, but they are not where the truth lives. The second a real hitter steps in and the game speeds up, things change. Adrenaline nudges your velo, your release point can drift, your command tightens or slips, and a pitch that looked perfect on flat ground starts behaving differently. That is not a flaw, it is just competition, and it is exactly why we track the games. Game data is the honest version of your arsenal.

What every pitch tells us

Every pitch in an ACDL game is on TrackMan, and each number has a job:

  • Velocity tells us whether your stuff holds up once the lights come on and the pressure is real.
  • Movement tells us whether the shape of a pitch actually backs up in a game, or only in the pen.
  • Spin tells us how efficient the pitch is and how much of its movement you are really getting.

That is three clear reads on whether a pitch is doing its job, every time you throw it, not a wall of numbers for the sake of it.

Hitters are on the data too

This is not just a pitcher’s league. Every swing and every batted ball gets tracked the same way, so an at-bat under the lights turns into real exit velocity and contact data instead of a guess. Hitters leave knowing what they actually do against live arms, not what a tee told them.

What we do with it

Tracking is pointless if it just sits in a spreadsheet. We use your game data two ways:

  • In the moment. We adjust a pitch or a swing with evidence instead of feel, because we can see exactly what it did.
  • In the next block. Your games set the agenda for the next stretch of training, so what you work on is driven by what actually happened in competition.

All of it lives in the ASP Boost app, yours to keep and yours to send to whoever needs to see it.
