A development league,
not just a summer schedule.
The Atlantic Collegiate Development League is a data-driven summer league run by Atlantic Sports Performance — built so college players actually get better over the summer, not just rack up at-bats.
Train like a pro. Prove it on the field.
Most summer ball is all games and no growth. The ACDL flips it: five days a week of measured, individualized training plus two games a week — every rep tracked, every pitch on TrackMan. You leave the summer stronger, faster, and with the data to back it up.
It’s built and run by Atlantic Sports Performance, one of the most advanced baseball development facilities in New England — markerless motion capture, force plates, and TrackMan, all in-house.
Why not both?
For years players have had to choose: a summer of games, or a summer of development. We never understood that trade-off. The ACDL gives you both in one place — a real season of competition wrapped around a real development program, measured start to finish so the gains are provable, not guesswork.
Built for the player who isn't done developing.
Show up ready
Arrive on campus stronger, faster, and measured.
Real reps + real data
D1, D2, D3, JUCO, NAIA — including guys who didn’t land a Futures/NECBL spot.
Grow on the numbers
Players who improve more on tracked reps than on playing every day.
Year 1 is local/commuter for New England players — no housing yet.
One pool. New sides every game.
There are no fixed teams. Every game is Navy vs. White, reshuffled each time — new lineups and pitching matchups all summer. Records live on the player, not a team. You train five days a week, two of those are games (Mondays & Fridays under the lights), and every assessment, motion-capture delta, and game's data flows back to your phone through the ASP Boost app.
Training opens May 17 and runs through August 15. Games run the week of June 21 through July 30.
Frequently asked.
When and where is it?
Summer 2027. Training is at the ASP facility (Hanover, MA) and runs May 17–August 15. Games are at Libby Field in Weymouth, MA, the week of June 21 through July 30.
Who is eligible?
College-level players only — incoming college freshmen and current D1, D2, D3, JUCO, and NAIA players. Year 1 is for local/commuter New England players.
How does the week work?
Five days a week. During game weeks, two of those days are games (Mondays & Fridays, evenings) and the other three are training — games are part of the five, not on top of them.
Are there set teams?
No. Games are Navy vs. White and the sides reshuffle every game. There are no team standings — each player carries a combined win–loss record across whichever side they’re drafted to.
What data do I get?
A full intake assessment (TrackMan, markerless motion capture, force plates, high-speed video), continuous tracking all summer, and a complete development report at the end — all delivered through the ASP Boost app.
Can I keep a summer job?
Yes. Training days offer a morning and an evening block so you can pick the one that fits your schedule.
How much does it cost?
$1,500 for the summer, paid in three installments (a deposit plus two payments).
What’s included?
Full uniform (jersey + hat), league apparel (bag, training shirt, training shorts), all assessments + motion capture + TrackMan data + ASP Boost reports, five-days-a-week individualized training, and recovery access (Normatec + an athletic trainer at games). You bring your own bats, glove, cleats, and transportation.
What’s the refund policy if I get hurt?
The deposit is non-refundable. If a documented injury ends your summer before games begin, you receive a pro-rated refund of the unused portion. Once games begin, the fee is non-refundable. (Full policy is in the player agreement.)
How do I apply?
Applications open Fall 2026. You can apply through our online application or be referred by your college coach — both feed the same review.
Is there a tryout?
No mandatory tryout — we evaluate through a short video and any available data, plus a coach reference. Spots are limited and built around roster fit, so applying doesn’t guarantee a place.
What do I walk away with?
A full data report — your assessment, your gains, and your game data — plus a clear plan for what to work on next, and the option to continue with ASP’s year-round development in-facility or remotely.
Develop like a pro this summer.
